Overview

Neco Plaza Corporation is seeking a highly qualified and experienced General Manager to oversee its diversified operations, which include a supermarket, wholesale business, convenience store, fast food outlets, gas station, vehicle rentals, and commercial space rentals. This is a key leadership role for a self-motivated individual with extensive experience in retail and wholesale management—ideally in the grocery sector—and a strong track record of operational success.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all divisions—supermarket, wholesale, convenience store, fast food, gas station, vehicle rentals, and commercial space rentals.

• Oversee administrative and human resource functions, including recruitment, training, performance management, and enforcement of company policies and procedures.

• Manage purchasing, inventory control, vendor relations, and customer service standards.

• Analyze departmental budgets and financial performance; allocate resources to achieve profitability and operational efficiency targets.

• Prepare and present financial and operational reports, budgets, and business plans to the executive team and owners.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, safety standards, and local regulations.

• Foster a positive and professional workplace culture built on accountability, integrity, and respect.

• Represent and promote the organization within the business community and relevant industry associations.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of successful management experience in retail or wholesale operations, preferably in the grocery sector.

• Strong leadership, financial management, and communication skills.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for the General Manager role.

• Must be adaptable to working overseas in Micronesia and comfortable leading a diverse, multicultural workforce.
  

Employment Terms

• Initial Contract: Two (2) years, renewable upon performance and mutual agreement.

• Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience.
